Humor and charm highlight this country music/road/jailhouse comedy. Hitchhiking, country music-loving teenager Ralph (Day) has a ticket for his dream trip to Nashville when he's picked up in a stolen Jag by drug-runner Boyd (Roxburgh) and the beautiful Patsy (Otto), who tells Ralph she was named for Patsy Cline. When the cops pull them over, Patsy gets away and Boyd lays all their crimes on the innocent Ralph. While the pair are in lockup, Ralph befriends three brothers who are equally interested in country tunes. This fractured fairytale does manage to come together and, of course, has a happy ending.
