Complex romantic drama set in Spain and Finland. Otto and Ana meet as children and instantly recognized each other as soul mates--their first kiss occuring over a geography book describing the Arctic Circle. When Otto's divorced father takes up with Ana's widowed mother, the now-adolescent pair wind up sharing the same house, and secretly become lovers. When Otto's mother dies, he blames himself for abandoning her and leaves Ana to become a pilot. She, in turn, becomes obsessed with being where the Arctic sun never sets, and fate, eventually, brings the adult duo together in Finland. Spanish with subtitles.
